Chase & Galley is a design studio based in Melbourne. Its founders are Stuart Geddes and Jeremy Wortsman. They have a particular interest in publication design and publishing, but their collective experience and expertise ranges broadly outside this terrain.
Stuart was a co-founder and director of Studio Anybody and art director of Monument magazine. He also has a long-standing teaching relationship with RMIT and Monash Universities, and is a councillor for AGDA Victoria. Jeremy comes from an editorial design background in New York, has taught design, worked in a wide array of design and advertising studios, and is also the founding principle of the Jacky Winter Group, an agency that represents contemporary Australian illustrators.
Stuart and Jeremy first worked together on Is Not Magazine, which they co-founded (with Mel Campbell, Natasha Ludowyk and Penny Modra) and began publishing in April 2005. The success of this much publicised project seemed to imply that working together was a good idea. And so they decided to pursue it. The projects they have done so far seem to have worked out pretty well.
