This year's Rooftop Cinema campaign was an exciting collaboration with German photographer Jan Von Holleben. We started with four of Jan's existing Dreams of Flying series and worked with him to create four new complementary landscapes. These groups of images, with imagined subtitles, are the beginnings of four stories from different genres. This was coupled with Typotheque's History family of typefaces, which manage to hint at a great variety of potential stories while at the same time referencing a kind of 'golden days of cinema' elegance and composure. At the printer is the rooftop paper, which includes more stories from the season by Chris Barton, Robert Cook, Tim Fleming and Isobel Knowles; we'll post it up here as soon as we have a copy.
