This publication for Arts Victoria was a guide for festivals and arts events interstate and internationally to promote Victorian performing arts. The design plays with the juxtaposition of the strict formatting of information that was requested of the artists and the way that information was delivered: with little regard for the various categories requested. Seizing this poetic play-off between artists and bureaucracy, we set up a very strict and simple grid and simply ran the text and images to where they ran, running over the grid if necessary and with the pictures filling up as much of the frame as they did. The cover is a diagram of the variation in the images.
